How to Apply as a Military or Veteran Student
You may apply to SJC as a military or veteran student if you are:
- An active member of the U.S. Armed Forces
- National Guard or Reserve Forces member
- Veteran of active-duty service
- A spouse or dependent of a service member or veteran
Explore our degree and certificate programs to decide your field of study at SJC. When filling out your application, you'll designate your chosen major, but if you're not sure, you can opt for the "undecided" choice and continue with registering for courses. Your academic advisor will help you select courses as you navigate your passions.
Keep in mind that certain programs might require an extra application or prerequisite courses prior to enrollment.
Create an admissions account to gain access to the SJC application system. You’ll need your name, email, address, and birthdate.
Log in to your admissions account to complete and submit your application. You can save your progress and return when you’re ready. There’s no application fee.
At SJC, our application process is ongoing without deadlines. The sooner you get your application in, the faster you'll secure the chance to enroll in your courses. Your application will remain valid for one year starting from the date of submission.
Typically, your application will be reviewed within one to two business days. However, during periods of high application volume, it might take a few additional days to complete the processing.
